Apartment Review for Valley Ridge Apartments - Nashville, TN

I have lived at Valley Ridge for going on 3 years, and have never had a problem. Until now that is. I live around a lot of older people, and I work a lot, so it has been very quiet. But recently, a new family of 5 moved into a 2 bedroom above me. It has been trouble ever since. I hate coming home now, to hear screaming children, running constantly, and loud music. I know kids have to play, but my 8 year old would never dream of being disrespectful to those living under us. They have even rattled my pictures off of the walls. We have contacted the office, and they say they don't take noise disturbances until after 10pm. So, we call Metro, but as soon as they leave they start again. Most of the time, they turn their music up really loud, as if to make us mad. I think it is rediculous to pay almost $800 per month and hate being at home due to noise! It is a good place to live, if you rent on of the townhomes, which are much quieter!
