The rent is a bit high unless (like me) you have to go to campus every day. I love having a guaranteed parking spot in midtown (1 is free, another is extra). The management and maintenance knew my name from the first couple weeks and greet me whenever we pass. I've never had any trouble with security, especially knowing that VUPD is close by doing their campus patrols. The BOundary gets a bit loud, but usually within reason. The main drawback are the ambulance sirens on the way to Vandy hospital.
