Apartment Review for Southwood Park Apartments - Nashville, TN

I lived at Southwood for 7 years. It was much better when Elizabeth was the manager. The manager now is nosey and a money hungry old woman. She does not respect the renters that have been there a long time and always paid on time. She will enter your apartment at any time when she wants without notice. She is all up in everybodys business.She will go up on your rent every year. She doesn't care about the tenants. She just wants that money. She must get a bonus or some kind of kick back. There were myself and several other tenants that had been there for years and because of her nosey, unprofessional, money hungry ways caused all the good long time tenants to move. So no matter how good a tenant your are, I can bet you will not live there as long as I did. And when you move out, expect to get hit with a big bill. She will charge you for repainting and cleaning the carpets and petty stuff like lightbulbs. In the 7 years I lived there, they never once painted or cleaned the carpets. Even after the walk thru, all light bulbs were good. Then when the bill came, she charged $5 each for several light bulbs that they blew. I could have gone to the Dollar Store and bought her 5 packs of 4 for the $5 each bulb that she charges. She does whatever it takes to keep from returning your deposit. I would not recommend this place.
