Apartment Review for Post Ridge Apartments - Nashville, TN

Bugs, Bugs, and more bugs. You wouldn't pay $40 a night to stay in a hotel with Roaches and brown widow recluse spiders (one of the most posionous) so why would you pay that in rent? Management on this property fills you with empty promises of a great lifestyle and in return you get a package of lies and a huge slap in the face. If you complain about bugs--guess what--eventually they'll turn the blame on you saying you brought them! Only threats of calling the department of health and TN State fair housing will make this place move--and mad. They'll turn corporate against you (at least play mind games that Corporate is on their side when in actuallity corp. has no idea what is going on). The layouts of the apartments are wonderful but it's the unwanted insects that cause a hassle annd concern--will you take them to your next home??? 24 hour maintenance is a joke---it doesn't happen. And would you believe this---they can walk into your apartment at any given time they want to...say some one wants to see a 3BR garden and none are available to show---that's right---they can show yours without even consenting you---so if a potential resident comes trolloping through your home when you are at work--or on vacation and gets hurt in your apt...guess who is liable----you've got it YOU ARE. Post ridge is not liable for that injury---don't believe me--reread your lease. They'll also fill your head with bogus ideas that they have to do 30/60/90/100 day walk through inspections---again not stated in the lease under those terms. My suggestion--if you need to live here---have a great attorney. A plus side---the neighbors are great--noise levels are decent and tolerable--and the views of the city are breath taking. If you don't have to deal with management, or bugs, or maintenance issues--this place is a dream--otherwise it could be a nightmare.
