Bed Bugs & the pool closed for two summers
Review Date: 7/3/2010 Reviewer: Anonymous
Several tenants have bed bugs and have been totally inconvience by the matter. Most had to throw away their furniture and belongings. It's been a problem here for at least a year. They brought in dogs finally, to detect what apartments have them after trying to spray them every other week for a year. Now almost every apartments has them and they won't reimburst the tenants for any of their lost and cost to replace items. Apartments also have mold in them that you won't be aware of because they never replace the old materials and cover up this when they rent the apartment to the next tenant. The swimming pool has been out of use for 2 years, supposely was going to have it up and running this season in 2010. Not any work has been excuted regarding the pool. The windows are orginal and have never been replaced. The AC units they use are window units that you would use in a one room. There very cheap units that are not efficent for the apartments. The work they do in the units is totally low cost materials and haven't update to code on electrical plugs, loose hanging wires on hot water heaters and garbage disposal. This could be a very costly apartment if you rent it the run because of the workmanship. Cheap and the same thing for 50 years. If you choose to reside here it could cost you of all your belongings and aggrevation because of bed bugs. |
