Apartment Review for Grande View Apartments - Nashville, TN

I have lived in these apartments for over a year. I have had very little to complain about. Funny thing is, most of what I have to complain about has nothing to do with the staff or apartments and was highlighted by the other poster. Some residents (very few - just some bad eggs) have no respect for their neighbors or the property. They leave their garbage in the walkways for days which stinks up the entire area. The staff cracked down on this after multiple complaints and assessed a $50 fine for those who refuse to respect others. Hurray!! These same residents are also the one who think it is ok to get a bunch of their friends together in the parking lot at 2 am and scream and yell - ever heard of a quiet voice?

Now, these residents are few and far between and represent maybe 1% of the whole community. I have loved it hear and plan on staying. Maintenance is quick to respond to any problems (often the same day) and works hard to make sure you are happy. The staff is always friendly and remembers who you are! Safety is not an issue.

The commute to downtons is very quick and easy. Maybe 15-20 minutes at the most in the busiest of traffic. Avoid 7:45 - 8:15 or 8:45 - 9:00 and it is a breeze!

Is it an apartment? Yes - and along with that goes those things typical of apartment living. Hearing your neighbors walking upstairs and the like. But where else in the city can you find people jogging, walking their pets or playing with their kids at all hours of the day and evening along with a friendly hello and smile?

If you want complete quiet then buy a house. Otherwise Grande View is a great community. Stop in and check it out for yourself. The pools are great, along with the cooking grills and picnic tables spread throughout the community.

REMEMBER - 90% of the people who post to these apartment ratings are people who were bad tenants and therefore got evicted or fined (see other poster). There is a reason Grande View is usually almost 100% at capacity - most of us who live here don't want to leave!
