Apartment Review for Glengarry Heights Apartments - Nashville, TN

I was told by one staff member that she lived on property and loved it. The only thing she could have loved about this ghetto hell, was she gets her drugs for free! I talked for months with these people, and was told it was a nice little community, and the picture painted for me was of a nice little community with friendly people, and nice little apartments. Pics online didn't look too bad, but I should have gone with my gut instinct that it was a ghetto by the metal awning posts, or whatever you call those stupid things, but they looked awful. The colors in the pic were ghetto, but when I got there, they were almost as bad, though they had changed them. I got there, and I looked, and there were broken windows, doors, and doorknobs missing on some of the doors! THe parking lot was so damned small, I couldn't back out properly, and I actually hit another vehicle (no damage. I checked!)! The pool was so full of people, you couldn't even see the water! OMG! It was ridiculous! I didn't even go in, I just turned back around, and cried! I had just moved out of state and took their word for it that it was a nice place. WOW! I won't do that again! Please, STAY AWAY! BTW: they claimed to do a credit check on me! I paid these people 125 bucks to hold the apartment for me, and I spent close to 1000 dollars moving, renting a vehicle to get us there, plus gas for said vehicle! I was majorly screwed! Now, I'm living with my ex and his psycho girlfriend! Still better than that Ghetto Hell!
