Apartment Review for Brandywine Apartments - Nashville, TN

My lease will end within one month, I just cannot wait to move out. Never hate something so much! To those who are looking for apartment, all I can say is---don't be cheated by their superficial phenomenon. I remember when I was looking for the apartment one year ago. I feel so great about them. But now I know it is just the worst. They are nice to you before you move, after that, you can find everything is not what you think. Here is a list of my disgruntles: 1. The wall is so thin, you can hear your neighbour flushing or fixing something as if they are in your room. 2. The maintainence is so bad. Our toilet runs frequently, we have asked them to fix it several times. Every time they leave a piece of paper saying the problem is fixed, but it turns out not. Finally we gave up. In the winter, the siren in my room beeps without any reason, waking me up at 3 or 4 am. Hate it. 3. The heat in two rooms are not the same. Usually, one room is hot enough, the other room is so cold. It is not that we don't know how to adjust the heat, we already did that. 4. The laudry is faraway from our apartment. That is not a problem. The problem is that dryer never work properly, I have to dry it 3 or 4 times before the clothes is actually dry. Don't tell me I load too much or I didn't clean the filter. All these have been considered! 5. The fitness center looks so nice. But when you are actually going to do some exercise, you find everything is broken. Usually only one running machine is working. And the workout machine constantly have problems. It took them forever to fix something. So don't be cheated when they show you the fitness center. Everything there is just a display and cannot really be used. 6. They have an indoor swimming pool, but every time I went there, the door is locked. They close the swimming pool frequently without any notice. Obviously, that swimming pool is another display just to attract those people who are looking for apartment. Don't expect to use it often. 7. Two robberies have been report within one month. 8. The gate is broken frequently. Fixing it will take months.
